My purpose and passion for years has been connecting with teen girls and women of all walks of life. In the past 3 years I have been an advocate for women in Domestic Violence. I continue to be an Advocate for women in Domestic Violence and Teen Abuse. With awareness comes change! With awareness comes Empowerment!
Natasha Burke is the Author of Colors of Food Culinary Arts Program and Women Empower Each Other Empowerment Guide Book for Facilitators, Trainers and Individuals.
I have worked with women for over 40 years as a Childbirth Educator, Doula, Lactation Specialist, Nutrition Educator, Life Coach, and facilitator of women’s groups. In the last three years, I facilitated women’s groups at the YWCA for women who have been victims of domestic violence. Women Empowering Each Other offers women’s circles where we release, reclaim and transform our lives. There is magic that happens when women gather together. We form sisterhood!
In 1984 I had a vision that I wanted to work with women in Domestic Violence. I wasn’t ready then as I was raising my children.
Three years ago I wanted to volunteer at the YWCA. I took the 40-hour state mandated training and a few months later I started facilitating women’s groups. In the last 3 years I have facilitated 75 groups. I am an advocate for women to end Domestic Violence.
In 2016, I developed a 16-week Empowerment Guide Book for Facilitators, Trainers and Individuals to facilitate women’s empowerment groups.
Women Empower Each Other offers services to teen girls and women. We offer retreats, and workshops using art as a tool to heal. I provide training for organizations and individual women who want to facilitate groups or educate teens and women on abuse. We facilitate teen girls and women’s empowerment groups.
I love LIFE, nature, traveling, art, and music. I am married and have three beautiful children and two grandchildren.
